If you are a meat lover, you will love ‘Shore’. Located on the high floors of the L Place building, next to the most expensive office building in Hong Kong (The Center), the restaurant offers an intimate black and gold decoration. But, rather than elaborating further on the colours of the chairs, let me explain you the story.

We discovered this restaurant one year ago with Mahé’ s parents (see her fashion portrait here) who invited us to enjoy an unforgettable dinner with them and our other roommate at the time: Manon (see her fashion portrait here). The restaurant is quite high-end but Mahé’ s parents generously indulged us with the best dish of the menu: ‘the tomahawk’.

This year, we came with A. and her husband to enjoy the same delicacies. This large piece of meat is obviously delicious and comes with 4 different sauces that you have to choose (béarnaise, mushroom, pepper and wine). We will bring you French and English mustard to add on the side if you’d like. The piece of meat is presented to you before being cut into smaller pieces. We paired the meat with a nice bottle of red wine and were unfortunately completely full for dessert.

Side dishes were also good (go for the cream spinach and the gratin dauphinois). If you want to extend the night, I recommend you have a look on the restaurant’s #rooftop too.
