Bedu, Sheung Wan

Dec 19, 2018

The recently opened restaurant ‘Bedu’ was incredible. The concept focuses on tapas sharing of Mediterranean / Lebanese food. Not only the ambience was very cosy, but the food also tasted amazingly good!

With my friends Emilie and Mariewe shared small and larger dishes which included:

BAKED FETA, THYME & LAVENDER INFUSED HONEY

SALT BAKED POTATOES, SHANKLISH CHEESE AND POMEGRANATE

RACK OF LAMB, GARLIC LABNEH, ZA’ATAR OIL

GOLDEN SPICED CHICKEN MANTI, YOGHURT, ALEPPO CHILLI OIL

CHARRED BROCCOLI, CRISPY KALE, CHILLI, ZHOUG LABNEH (which was a small salad)

All this with a nice glass of wine each of course.

Even if the dishes are quite small, the price was very reasonable and we should have gone for more! Go there with a small group of friends for an intimate gathering. Sometimes, you will have to wait to get your pre-booked table but they made the wait nice by arranging some pieces of furniture on the stairs just near the restaurant where you can stay and have a drink.
