Ciaocoe, Wan Chai
If you are strolling in the area of Start Street in Wan Chai, do not hesitate to stop by Ciacoe, an intimate Italien Wine Bar that opened in 2013. For a spontaneous drink with friends or for a small but nice dinner, it is the perfect place to drop in after a shopping session in the area.
‘Ciacoe’ means ‘Gossip’ in Venetian but the only word I can spread is a very positive one on this bar and restaurant that offers a really good happy hour deal (‘Ciacoe time’), with free tapas and small bites for any drink bought. The staff is also really really kind and helpful.
One of the best part of it – besides the nice Spritz we had – is to just stand in the quiet Moon street. No car, no noise, just far away voices and laughs of people enjoying drinks in the area. When it is too hot, the waiter puts a big fan outside to cool people down.
