Happy New Year again everybody! It feels good to be back in Hong Kong after the holidays when we have such a beautiful winter weather (up to 20 degrees this week!). But even if you feel like living in the #Caribbean, some nights can be pretty chilly and – admit it – you bought this lovely shirt during the winter sales and you want to wear it now… so, #fashion first!

I pull out from my closet one of my favourite sweaters, a ‘mariniere’ style again. This one has those 4 buttons on the left shoulder that makes all the difference. I believe it gives a more boyish style to the top. To add another personal touch, I decided to wear my patent black derbies. Those ones are very classic and I had them for years (it is definitely a #basic to have in your closet).

I break the ‘boyish’ style with my winter black shorts and opaque black tights. For a more feminine touch, I also wear my beige Massimo Dutti coat (a gift from L. for my 25^th birthday <3) which is very warm. The last ‘boyish’ touch is my Daniel Wellington watch which I think always had a kind of ‘boat style’… so it becomes a nice pairing with my blue and white striped sweater.

My black purse is very #corporate in its style, so I chose to wear it on my shoulder rather than on my forearm to avoid any strictness in my outfit. I love this bag, very handy with the perfect size for the workday and even the evenings out.

If the evening is too chilly for you, do not hesitate to use the ultimate accessory: a winter headband.
