Hi everyone! It is already the end of November and I haven’t realised it yet. Given the nice and still hot weather we’ve got in Hong Kong, it is hard to remember we are closer to Winter than Summer. For this Outfit of The Month, I wanted to show you an outfit I often wear when I want to feel quite elegant (light scarf and hills) but that can also be worn in a more casual way.

For this photo shooting, we spent the morning in Sheung Wan, drinking delicious hot chocolate from Agnés B. and then we went to Mongkok (the day L. ordered the #Vespa <3, article featuring the baby coming soon) and enjoy the street market and other unknown streets. I wear a dress bought at Lai Chi Kok, the great fashion market located in the New Territories, the secret place of Elsa (article here). When I bought it was a little too long for me (it was a unique size and you cannot try clothes on over there) so I had to ask my lovely tailor of Lockart road market to shorten it (if you want her info, contact me and I’ll give you her contact details, it is a little gem).

What makes this outfit elegant is definitely my old-but-still-loved-silk-shawl from Naf Naf. It is light (you can put it during mid-season such as now) but it always adds this small chic touch you may want to have. You can also wear gold jewellery to add to the elegant style. I chose gold to remind the colours of my shawl.

According to the style you want to adopt: choose between heels and slippers. During this photo shooting, I wore both so that you can see a different style. I also follow the basic rule of always matching the color of the bag with shoes (when possible). So here: black heels from Hong Kong market (Li Yuen street if you want to play local) and Black Vanessa Bruno Cabas. I like to wear their cabas during summer (glitters!) and even in late Autumn in the black version which is very stylish to me.
