Hi everyone! I took the opportunity of a nice Saturday trip to Kowloon (To Kwa Wan more precisely) with the Vespa to take a bunch of pictures of my outfit. I thought it would rain given the threatening clouds but the weather ended being so sunny… Or maybe it was an excuse to show you my new rain boots I got for my birthday <3

It was a long hesitation about whether I really wanted a pair of rubber boots. I used to not find them good looking or too ‘heavy’ to wear on me. But with Hong Kong weather and the monsoon season, I quickly changed my mind. And I spotted these lovely Aigle ones. I particularly like the navy colour which differs from the usual classic black, the small heels and the red stripe at the top.

What makes this outfit elegant is definitely my old-but-still-loved-silk-shawl from Naf Naf. It is light (you can put it during mid-season such as now) but it always adds this small chic touch you may want to have. You can also wear gold jewellery to add to the elegant style. I chose gold to remind the colours of my shawl.

You can wear those cuties with a pair of jeans or black pants but I personally prefer the combo black tights/skirt. On the picture above you can recognise the mall designed in a boat shape in Whampoa where we strolled around and bought our first Christmas gifts.

I know I have a very classic style and that sometimes it can appear to not be very modern nor ‘hype’ given that sneakers, jeans and oversized top are trendy now. But I can help to like the French ‘BCBG‘ style with very classic and fitted shapes like this top from agnès b. I bought at a Luxarity sales with Marie some weeks ago. For the perfect BCBG style, add a pair of pearl earrings, a small navy bag and prefer a stylish collar like the one on the picture. The velvet kaki perfecto was the only item to be more rock with this outfit but I think it gives a nice touch to the look.
