I was surprised when I first entered the restaurant as I didn’t expect this atmosphere at all. Va Bene is very modern and decorated with many materials that give the room a very particular ambience. The main room is very large (I first felt seating in a hangar) but it successes in giving a warm and cosy feeling thanks to smooth lights, its open kitchen and a very nice declination of grey shades.

We were here for our roommate’s birthday and celebrated the night with nice cocktails and appetizers.

We were half delighted and half disappointed by our four dished: the truffle raviolis I ordered were simply amazing while the other pasta dish was really small and basic…

Service was good and thoughtful except when one waitress suggested the most expensive wine on the list without telling us the price when the one we ordered was not available. It was not very smart from her.

Dessert was pretty good: chocolate mousse with a biscuit and vanilla ice cream.

Tip and recommendation: go on a Monday evening to enjoy the Super Monday discount – 2 for one. Otherwise, it is pretty expensive, even if the atmosphere is worth the price.
